Today was the day.. School Again
Well after a thrilling weekend.. it was back to reality. School opened today. They both seemed to be a "little" excited as they got up with no moaning and groaning. They both put on new shirts, socks and shoes. Gathered their book bags and with little grins they anticipated there day. "Will it be the same people, mom?" Hunter asked. "Do you think Mrs. Collie will give us homework the first day?" Michael asked. My answer to both was "Yes". LOL.. Hunter had 5 new kids to join him this year. Michael had 4 new kids. Wow!
They both had a great day. Michael arrived home with NO homework as the classes books didn't come in. Great School system we have here huh? Hunter's new desks had not arrived either, but his teacher gathered old ones until the new ones arrive. All in all 2nd & 5th won't be so bad, after all. I'm looking forward to this year as we have an awesome, new principle!!!
