Shewww this weekend if finally over
Below you see all my posts from this weekend. I was exhausted by the end of Deperate Housewives last night. I tried real hard to watch the season premire of Brothers & Sisters but I didn't make the trip. You just gotta love that "record" button on the DVR. How did I ever survive without it? It was a fun filled weekend of one endless party after another. We had alot of family time and socializing! Enjoy!
Work Party
Wow, what a busy weekend, the Watts' had! Whatelse is new, right?
Saturday morning started VERY early. My children & I are not morning people, especially on Saturdays. We arose very early to make it to Hunter's 9:30 am football game. 9:30 isn't so bad, but being there 45 mins before is a killer! They have to weigh in, stretch etc. They lost again but only by 1 point this time. They have really improved since their first spanking of 6-25. Now, that was ugly! But they came back this week fighting! After a long 1 1/2 hours of football our day began to roll right along. To Walmart to pick up Hunter's cake, home to pack coolers, to the store for ice and to Clarksville to my "work get together". Our nurse practitioner lives at the lake so we all met there for lots of great food and entertainment. My doctor rented race cars for the kids so that occupied them for hours while the adults laughed and told "office stories". (no names, just the stories) Then we had a good ole fashion pig pickin. The food was wonderful and tons of it. We always look forward to getting together. Especially this year as we had our new doctor and his family, so all our kids got to meet and play together. They fished, played "old fashioned duck, duck, goose", freeze tag and hide n seek. They also did their share of fishing until all of the rods got tangled up! It was just a good day!

Hunter's big 7 Birthday Party

Hunter had his big birthday party on Sunday. He had a very diverse theme of a party. Over the Hedge invites & cake, sports themed plates & cups, and a Sponge Bob pinata. He hand picked it all out himself this year. The weather turned out great with a few spinkles here and there to give me a scare. We sang the ran, ran, go away song and it did. I couldn't even begin to think of what I was going to do with all these children if it had rained us out. It was a GREAT day!Lots of presents
Hunter racked up on some great presents and lots of money. Money is one of his favorite things. He refuses to spend it and is saving it for something. He doesn't know yet, I'm hoping Disney World. Sure would help out ole Mom & Dad!!
Some Kids playing kick ball, some playing the balloon dart game & some were jumping on the trampoline. It was a fun filled party day!Surprize from Big Brother
Michael bought Hunter the coolest present. We tried to hold off and give it to him Wednesday on his actual birthday but none of us could stand it. Lastnight after everything got quiet we let Hunter open his "big present". He loved it. Credit goes to Michael, he saw it at Walmart and it was on Clearance!! He bought it months ago. I trained him well. If it's not on sale, it doesn't get bought! We got this super duper remote control vehicle with all the bells a whistles for $20.00!! Yep, the "." is in the right place! Oh, it has lights, music, horns and you even have to crank it before it goes. It has 3 speeds but Hunter only chooses to run it on High. I went out to play with it and he made me keep it on "low". He said I would wreck it! I can't wait to take it camping with us, that will be loads of fun!

Updates
Well, I got a call from my Dad the other day to let me know that this site had not been updated since September 4th. Well, actually it was a test just to see who was checking our site. LOL.. Dad won!
I must admit, we have been extremely busy. I can't tell you the last time we sat at our kitchen table and ate dinner that didn't include, chicken nuggetts & fries. Everyone goes in different directions whether it be school, football practice, games, errands, etc.......Hopefully, by Thanksgiving, things will slow down just enough time to grab enough energy to fuel up for baseball. Baseball is my true love. I don't know why but I just love it. Football, well I just can't get into it. It might have to do with crossing that river. You know.. the other side of the county. LOL... I feel as though I have to pack breakfast, lunch and dinner. But no matter what the boys want to do, I will support them 110% and pretend when needed, to know what is going on. Michael & Hunter are our life and there will come a time that we will miss all of this hussle and bussle. Which brings to mind a funny....
Several weeks ago, it was raining and no one had to go anywhere. David picked up the boys, came home cooked dinner. I came home and greeted everyone, reviewed homework and we all at dinner. Then the boys went to their rooms and did their homework. David and I retreated to the carport to chat. It got real quiet and we looked at each other wondering what to do.... it was so odd, no rushing, no getting anyone ready, no work to be done in the shop, no clothes to wash, no cleaning(that I wanted to do).. just really odd. We just sat and talked. It was GREAT! We indulged in the moment and poof, it was bed time........ looking forward to another "odd" evening.
Enjoy....

Water Diet
Well, the boys have decided that a water diet is needed in their life this week. What, you ask? I did the same thing. Both boys decided yesterday that they could not eat and only drink water before their football games. Hunter insists he is going on a water diet, as he eats cheeze nips, leaving Wal-Mart yesterday before his game. He said that he had to go on a water diet to make weight. 30-45 mins before each game the boys have to weigh in with all of their equipment on. Well, neither Michael nor Hunter made weight which means they got the big "X" on their helments and couldn't carry the ball. Grocery shopping these days consists of the more than usual low fat, fat-free, high protein snacks and muchies. If the cereal isn't 1/3 less sugar, they won't eat it. Michael compares calories on just about everything he goes to eat. It's quite funny although they are really learning alot about "good" eating. I try to even incorporate a few math skills into figuring it all out. Always something new and exciting going on around here.
Hunter kicks off the game
Hunter kicks off to start the game. He has been really practicing on his kicking skills. He did a great job. Watch out NFL... I think this may be your future pick.
Michael's Team wins first game! Can you believe how big this child is? My goodness, I can't believe it either. Michael plays offense & defense. He recovered the ball yesterday on a fumble and the next play scored a touchdown!
My little baby makes his football debut. He truely loves this sport and he also plays offense & defense. Hunter is also the kicker. Unfortunatly, his team lost but they really did good for their first game. Football season opens in full swing
Redneck camping at the river

Last weekend was our Fall Family Float down at Long Island. Let me first explain "RedNeck camping". I ordered "camper" lights in April and the Friday of our Float down, they arrived. Just in time. Our new doc, saw them and officially announced that I must be a redneck. Guess you had to be there to get the full affect. It was sooooo funny! So, just for him, I took pictures of our camper. He just couldn't imagine those pink flamigo lights on our camper. Anyway... Hunter had football practice on Saturday so Michael & David floated the river and we joined them that evening for dinner. It was alot of fun and we always enjoy seeing our friends/family from out of town. I wish Hunter & I could have floated too, but he wouldn't hear of missing his practice. It all worked out because David said Michael paddled the whole way, so David got to kick back. Had I gone, David would have had to paddle just a little bit more. LOl.... Michael loves the river and looks forward to going every chance he gets.
Hunter is all better
Hunter is officially over his ??? sting. It took a good week for him to completely heal but he looks much better.Monday, September 04, 2006
Hunter continued..............

This is Hunter today. He was playing video games so he wasn't very into me taking his picture. I know, he still looks kinda bad but I promise, it really is better.Update on Hunter
Hunter is doing much better. Today, both eyes are swollen but not nearly as bad as yesterday. By dinner time yesterday both eyes were just about swollen shut. Thanks to my dear Nurse friends, I think we have it under control. Did you know that taking a Tagament with Benadryl intensifies the affect which means the benadryl works faster? Well, it truely works. I was debating on taking him to the ER but decided to try the tagament w/ benadryl. Worked like a charm. Along with that we have applied warm moist compresses while sleeping off the Benadryl. I am however, still a little concerned with the redness but I am keeping a close watch. Both eyes are open instead of the previous being completely shut, so I see progress. They are beginning to itch which means they are healing. I really hate the ER as I have a serious germ feddish! It seems our visits always end up with another illness, such as the stomach flu, plain flu or a cold, so I try real hard to stay away!!
Hunter insists on going to Football practice which I'd rather him not....... but if his parents had of remembered that he had practice Sat. morning at 10am... he would have been there instead of getting stung by ????. Although when I stated that to his dad, his reply was, "Well, he might have broke his arm or leg." With that thought, I was glad he did miss practice... LOL

Poor Hunter

My poor baby! No, I promise, his brother didn't hit him, nor did he get hit by a baseball or football! He got stung by ??? at a friends house. The first picture is of yesterday after he got home.
The second picture is of this morning when he finally woke up at 10:30!! One eye is completely closed while the swelling is moving across his nose to his other eye. With hopes that benadryl will do the trick today, I hope he will be lots better tomorrow. It is going to be tough to practice football with one eye closed up!! But I guarrantee he will try it. We plan to ride 4wheelers this afternoon and he has volunteered to ride with someone. Although he didn't want to ride with anyone crazy, like Michael! LOL.... He is so funny.
I hope everyone has a GREAT Labor Day holiday. We have had a busy one!
